You got to have faith

You got to have faith

Over the weekend I came to a place where I had to realize that as his children and as his bride we must come boldly to his throne of Grace ( unmerited favor).  Why he says come boldly is because Jesus earned the right to do so on our behalf. In the old days, the old law no one could just walk up to god. They had to be clean and a whole bunch of other things had to be done. More over, they tied a rope to the one who would go  into his presence just in case he missed something had was struck dead. The rope was there so they could pull the body out if it came to that.

Today under the new covenant, through Jesus, what God is saying is come boldly, this is not an arrogant posture but in confidence, in truth and understanding that, in Christ you were saved from all the rituals of the old, all the judgment of the old, the conditions of the old and the death of the old. come knowing that you are clean and acceptable no matter what you did to be in the presence of the most high but not cause you earned it but e worked and earned it on your behalf.

When you do that he then says, now ask me for anything in Jesus name and it shall be granted. However there is a clause, when you ask you must believe you have it and then it shall be. What I came to realize today is that God is asking as to claim what is ours. if you believe you have it then it is yours so basically you are claiming what is yours. What god is telling us is that, understand that all things are yours through him, when you approach dont ask with the old mind set, as though you ask then work/earn then get. No come and then claim. Daddy may I have My house pls, I need it now, Daddy may I have MY wife now? it is time... I believe Jesus already took care of the bill so I am simply here to collect....You get me?

Many times we come before his throne but in the back of our mind we are thinking of all the things that make us unworthy and not focusing on the one thing that makes us worthy. Jesus.  This is really what is meant by Jesus paid it all. Your healing, prosperity, sight, children name it he has already got it. Nakumat has nothing on Jesus for the stocks even what money cannot buy. Thus he says come buy without money for its one me. Not i will take care of the bill but I have already taken care of the bill.

Now here is the one thing about it all that seals the deal. If you believe you have it is yours. In other words, your understanding and confidence in the work of Jesus on the cross will determine if you see it or not. what we behold is directly related and determined by what we Be-live that Jesus covered for on the cross. Be- Live in this case is begin to live. If you are confidence that Jesus bought and paid for your healing you will begin to live it out.

Belief is a matter of the heart and it affect the mind. i was challenged today by the Lord. the question at hand is if you believe you have what you asked for, how come you did not leave my presence in celebration? Praising and thanking me for it? like Somoza who and truly got what they came for? why when you approach his throne of grace and ask, or knock or seek do you not leave with thanks giving if you have faith you have got that which you asked for, if that door you knocked on was open and if you found what you were looking for?

I don't know about everyone else, but I believe that Jesus paid it all. I have been praying for a long time now and today I choose to celebrate for I have that which I asked for, in Jesus name. It is prayed and paid for and its mine! Amen.

Who I am.

Last night I went to bed with an ache in my heart as I recalled how many young women, men children, youth cannot stand up and tell you who they are.
I ached because I recalled all the times that I wanted to be someone else or like them. The times when my parent looked at me with such disappointment and said.." why can you be like..." The times when they would compare me with the neighbors kids, cousins or their friend’s kids. The times when I thought I was born in the wrong family, when I prayed for God to give my folks the kind of child they always dreamed of and want.

I ached because; I knew there are others who face the same thing every day. when the ones put in charge of us tell us what we are not, tell us what we ought to be, tell us what a letdown we are all because we cannot be more than God created us to be and yet they won’t even let us be that.

But after I ached and I cried, I was filled with joy yet again, the joy that comes with knowing who I am. I am wonderfully and fearfully made, I am the egg that made it, and that sperm that had that one I’m a million chances and still made it. I am the image and likeness of the one true God. I am Gods perfect and divine handy work a manifestation of his glory, I am his purpose walking the earth on a journey to fulfillment. I am change, opportunity, help, remedy, a solution to a problem in my generation. I am a gift and I am gifted. I am unique and no other can do what I do how I do it. I am set apart for his use. I am his opinion not yours. I am his child. I am his business not yours am the very expression of God Almighty, the King of Kings and Lord of lords.

I am a god not a mere man so do not treat me as such.

No thanks!

like most people, I have a list of things i look for in a man. as far as looks go they only would get you so far, having a clean shirt, smelling fresh (Body and breath ) clean short nails, and a good fashion sense ought to at the least get me to give you the time of day to say hi.

However, many seem to think that looks are all there is to attraction. Looks may get you in the door, but you remain standing till further notice. a great personality would be nice, someone funny, interesting and well spoken. That again should but you a little more time with me.

Once you have a seat its time for me to dissect. I want to know what you are really made of, what you stand for, what you would or would not do and the likes. That right there is what makes the difference between a keeper and a return to sender.

Many men look great, dress, well, speak even better and smell like angels dust which is great, but if there is one thing I cannot stand is a man with no moral fiber. You know the one who says one thing and does the other, the one who wraps his arms around his girl while winking at you behind her back? The one who makes the company pay off his drinking bills and calls it a company dinner.

There is nothing more unattractive to me than lack of integrity. I have friends out there, who have men like these, and I ache to tell them, but chances are they already know and just make excuses for his behavior.

Are we so desperate to be in a relationship that any man will do? If that is the case be ready for a man who will also do anything. Ladies, being single is not a curse, playing hard to get is not a game unless you are playing inky pinky pon ki.

I don’t know about you, but I would rather wait for the best than settle for the rest…..you feel me?

Shalom

T
